Spam Email Percentage
Saturday, April 22, 2006
In the year 2006 it is estimated that 40% of all email sent is a spam message. Out of 31 billion email messages sent per day, this is quite a few emails that are considered spam. While there are typically filters in place to deal with sorting the spam out, the typical user spends 3 seconds dealing with each spam message that makes it to their inbox.
The percentage of email that is considered spam is very high, however with proper spam filtering technology in place, the percentage of spam emails that reach your inbox should be greatly reduced.
